Ottawa Physio Race Raises $3,000 for PFC
On a very sunny April 19th, 2009, more than 300 runners and walkers assembled along scenic Rideau Canal to participate in the 21st Ottawa Physio Race, one of the major events in Ottawa kicking off National Physio Month.
Thanks to the generous support of volunteers, participants and sponsors, namely Royal Lepage-Gale Real Estate, Clinic Master, Kinemedics, and Mylon-Tech, the race organized by the Eastern Ontario District of OPA raised a record $3,000 for the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada.
Special thanks to the Running Room, race co-chairs, Erin Morgan and Kristine Houde, and race committee members Sarah Siderius, Mireille Charette, Francine Eastwood, Lee-Ann Wong and Patrick Juneau who were instrumental in making this year’s race a great success.
